How many floors up are you at work? So great to see places in perspective like this. I have crawled all over that park, and along York Street. Did you know that this area used to be a military barracks. The last commander was John Wynyard. Hence, we have Barrack Street ... It stretched from George back to Clarence, and from Barrack to mm ... I think Margaret. But it got razed when the value of the land became too tempting and the troops were marched out to Victoria Barracks in something like 1838.
