AWA Tower

Looking up at the AWA Tower in York Street, from Sussex Street. On beautiful Sydney day...

The building and tower dominated the low-lying 1930s Sydney skyline. It remained the tallest building in Sydney until the 1960s.

  1. I love the AWA Tower, how did you get this shot without a forest of towers in the background.

  2. Sussex Street is lower than York, and this advantage point I used is from a narrow passage way between buildings, and I took it from the car while at lights. My husband is so use to the call "quick camera, stop!!"
