Post Boxes

Australia's first street posting boxes appeared on Sydney streets in 1831. These were small wooden boxes that were affixed to walls. Not sure when this first appeared.

  2. But quite a few ... like a dozen ... Peter has found some and I have found some ... we should keep a count. This one I guess is on the Millers point side of the ridge ... there is anothery on the other side of the bridge approach near the Australia pub.
