Silver Beach at Kurnell is characterised by 14 rock wall (groynes) which project into Botany Bay. The first eight of these groynes were constructed in 1969-70 in response to severe beach erosion.
Dog off leash is allowed on this beach between the third and fourth groynes (jetties) from the western end.
