Just wondering whether the problem is having your name in the blog title. I'm wondering if it personalises the blog too much for them because city blogs should be focused on the city. If so, "View of Sydney" sounds really good for a blog anyway. :)
I submitted the fotojo one, but after reading all the info, it didn't fit the requirements at all. (would have helped if I read first before submitting, bull at a gate some times I am) I tried this name without jo in it, but unavailable. So hard to find a name that is available.
I had a few problems setting up my Sydney blog too. I had a few ideas that were taken and in the end I settled on "Sydney - City and Suburbs". Unfortunately many good names have been used by past bloggers and abandoned. How about "A View on Sydney" or "Views of Sydney"? Keep trying. :)
