St Mary's
The cathedral is dedicated to "Mary, Help of Christians", Patron of Australia.
St Mary's is the largest church in Australia, though not the tallest.

The New South Wales Mounted Police Unit is the oldest continuous operational Mounted unit in the world. It was formed by Governor Brisbane on the 7th September, 1825.

ANZAC War Memorial
The Anzac Memorial in Hyde Park South was completed in 1934 as a memorial to the achievement of the Australian Imperial Forces. The building, designed by C. Bruce Dellit, is a concrete structure clad in stone with sculptures by Raynor Hoff.

Hyde Park is named after the original in London and can be found on the eastern side of the Sydney Central Business District.
