Bundanoon




Bundanoon is a town in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales, Australia, in Wingecarribee Shire. It is an Aboriginal name meaning "place of deep gullies" and was formerly known as Jordan's Crossing.

    I much prefer Bundanoon to Jordan's Crossing which is way too biblical for me.

    Those murals were nicely executed.

    I always get Bundanoon muddled up with Brigadoon so was surprised to find it is an aboriginal word.
