Chowder Bay

Named after whalers who made chowder from the bay's abundant seafood, Chowder Bay is located on the southern side of Sydney's Middle Head peninsula.

  1. Gorgeous shot. I too notice the clear water. But also the composition is lovely.

  2. That too is what we noticed how clear the water is. We had hoped to have spent the day there today, but in the boat anchored. The weather though had other plans so this is on the list for another day. Such a beautiful place.

  3. My father was in camp up the top of Middle Head and used to go down to CB to swim. He was in huts that are still there today and only slightly modified. I took him for a mooch around them in 2008.
